Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
CareCalculus is designed with privacy as a default. This page explains what data we collect (very little) and how we use it.
No Personal Data Collected
CareCalculus does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not require account registration. No medical data you enter into our calculators is sent to any server — all calculations are performed locally in your browser.
Local Storage Only
We use your browser's localStorage exclusively to remember your language preference (carecalculus-lang) and unit standard preference (carecalculus-standard). This data never leaves your device and is not shared with any third party.
No Tracking or Analytics
CareCalculus does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not build user profiles, track browsing history, or use advertising cookies.
Third-Party Services
We do not embed third-party widgets that collect data. Our only external dependency is the Lucide icon library (CSS/SVG, no tracking). The site is hosted as static files and served via a CDN.
Cookies
We do not use any cookies. Preferences are stored in localStorage only, which is not transmitted with HTTP requests.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because we collect no personal data, the vast majority of GDPR and CCPA obligations do not apply. There is no data to access, correct, export, or delete. If you wish to clear your language/unit preferences, you can clear localStorage in your browser settings at any time.
Changes to This Policy
If we introduce any analytics or data collection in the future, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect and a notice will appear on the site.
For any questions about this policy, also see our Terms of Use.
